Chicken Sandwich
Thin-pounded, perfectly seasoned chicken breast pan-fried and topped with melted white cheddar on a toasted bun.
Seasoning
- ½ t kosher salt
- ½ t freshly ground black pepper
- ½ t paprika
- ½ t garlic powder
- ½ t onion powder
- ½ t dried Italian seasoning
- ¼ t cayenne pepper
Everything Else
- 1 chicken breast
- Butter and oil for the pan
- White cheddar cheese
- Bun and your choice of toppings
Instructions
- Mix all seasonings together in a bowl.
- Cut the chicken breast in half, then cover with plastic wrap and pound to ¼-inch thick.
- Season one side of the chicken.
- In a pan, melt butter and oil together until hot.
- Place the chicken seasoned-side down, then use the remaining seasoning to cover the top.
- When golden brown, flip and cook until completely cooked through.
- Melt white cheddar cheese on top.
- Place on bun, add whatever toppings you want. Best part — enjoy!
