Chicken Strips
Crispy fried chicken tenders tossed in a sweet & spicy garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken, boneless & skinless
- 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
- ½ cup flour
- 1 egg
- Oil for frying
Seasonings
- Smoked paprika
- Black pepper
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
Sauce
- 1 cup sweet & spicy sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions
- In a pot, bring oil to 350°F.
- Cut the chicken into tender slices.
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs.
- Combine the Panko, flour, and seasonings into a separate bowl.
- Once oil is hot, dip chicken into the egg and coat thoroughly.
- Move from the egg directly into the breading mixture and coat evenly.
- Place the breaded chicken into the hot oil. Cook in batches if needed — be careful, oil may splash.
- In a pan, combine the sweet & spicy sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and honey over medium heat.
- Once all the chicken is cooked, add it to the pan and toss with the sauce.
