Steak & Pasta in Cowboy Butter
Juicy ribeye bites and pasta tossed in a rich, herby cowboy butter cream sauce.
Steak & Pasta
- 2 lbs ribeye, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 T oil
- 3 t steak seasoning — or 1/2 t each garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, black pepper
- 1 T salt
- 3 T butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lb pasta of your choice
Cowboy Butter Sauce
- 3 T butter
- 1/2 onion, finely diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 T paprika
- 1/2 t Italian seasoning
- 1/2 t red pepper flakes
- 1 t Dijon mustard
- 1 & 1/2 C heavy cream
- Juice & zest of 1/2 lemon
- 1 T fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 T fresh chives, chopped
Instructions
- Cut ribeye into pieces and season.
- Heat a pan with the oil and butter.
- Once melted, add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add the ribeye pieces and cook to your liking.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta.
- Remove the steak from the pan.
- Using the same pan, add the butter for the cowboy butter sauce.
- Once melted, add all remaining sauce ingredients (minus the chives and parsley) and mix well.
- Add the pasta to the pan and toss to coat.
- Top with chives and parsley.
